1945 Converted while a university student
1953 Moved to the Belgian Congo to work with the Worldwide Evangelization Crusade (WEC) at Ibambi.
1955 Moved to Nebobongo (7 miles away) to setup a new medical center
1958 Two-year furlough in England
1960 Republic of Congo became independent of Belgian rule
1964 Simba uprising begins civil war. Helen taken captive for five months.
1965 Helen was freed and returned to the U.K. for a year
1966 Helen returned to the Congo and began the medical training college at Nyankunde
1973 Return to the U.K.
2016 Died on December 7 in Northern Ireland
